- New model Introduction in the topcoat application area (primer, basecoat, clearcoat)
- Work closely with Paint New Model Launch department to understand future model and process requirements and implication and ensure manufacturing requirements are considered. Develop procedures needed.
- Attend AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) facility meetings as required to ensure manufacturing requirements are met
- Generation of new model Paint Robot Programmes (interior and exterior application robots in the Primer and Spray Booth lines)
- Creation, approval of paint trajectories and painting parameters.
- Facilitate the cleaning and maintenance of the application equipment to a very high standard.
- Develop procedures needed and training of others PAE`s members
- The operation, control and management of the paint application equipment to SQDCME objectives on a recognised shift system
- Liaise with Process Engineers to achieve a continuous improvement
- To Support the production process leaders in the delivery of volume and quality targets.
- Data analysis, measurement & reporting of operational issues.
- Support line trials and permanent process changes
Požiadavky
- 3 + years’ Experience in a paint application engineering
- Robot programming,
- Ability to analyse the needs of both internal and external customers
- Have the ability to visualise and explain the current status
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and fluid delivery systems, associated with automatic paint application equipment and automated body cleaning equipment
- Self-starter with the confidence and ability to work on own initiative
- Enthusiastic, with the motivation to achieve goals
- Knowledge AutoCAD
