Nitra PVT Lead Engineer will play a lead role in establishing and maintaining an effective plant based Powertrain PVT team. They will work, with a minimum of supervision, in all aspects of Powertrain current car engineering. This regularly involves the identification, containment & resolution of Powertrain related issues through data analysis and working with Manufacturing, CoC, suppliers, Product Investigation (Service) and dealers.
- Contribution to the PVT Balanced Scorecard Quality objectives
- Take ownership of vehicle line quality metrics, identify and lead projects to resolution.
- Be responsible for Powertrain commodities and resolution of projects / issues
- Analysis of warranty data to identify and prioritise top issues and resolve customer concerns
- Identifying and implementing robust containment, root cause and permanent corrective action
- Quality data analysis using AWS,IQM, CQI, JD Powers, DTC Database etc
- Supporting the production team with the timely resolution of build issues
Požiadavky
- Experience with powertrain, transmissions, integration systems, cooling system is a must!
- Knowledge & experience of Manufacturing plant processes
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation
- Use of 8D, 6 Sigma problem resolution
- Powertrain hardware and systems including batteries and rotating machines
- Capable of working in a reactive and pressured environment.
- Good communication, negotiation and project management skills
- Able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated, flexible with hours of work, overtime
- Analysis of warranty data to identify and prioritise top issues and resolve customer concerns
- Project management of engineering changes including timing, line trials etc
- High level of IT literacy and ability to learn use of new systems quickly
- Excellent oral and written English & technical english
