Supplier Development Manager

The MP&L Supplier Development Manager role is to lead Supply Assurance and Supplier Launch Readiness teams for regional Central European Suppliers to Jaguar Land Rover.
Supply Assurance activity will involve the resolution and recovery of actual and anticipated disruption to production supply in high hurt / chronic state suppliers. They will also be responsible for the development and assessment of the current car supply base in compliance of the JLR MP&L Supplier Operating Standards document
Supplier Development activity will involve the industrialisation of supplier processes in line with JLR MP&L Supplier Operating Standards.

Main Responsibilities:
The Leadership of Supplier Development Engineers that are responsible for:
o The development of supply chain standards for JLR’s global tier one supply base
o Cross functional working with JLR commodity teams to ensure readiness of supply chain for series production
o Launch readiness of supply base in line with supply chain standards
o Crisis management support for high hurt supplier issues.
o Systemic problem resolution of suppliers with poor delivery performance o Implementation and management tier 1 supplier / 3PL sequencing solutions o Industrialisation of sequence supply chains in line with JLR sequence supply chain standards
o Governance of JLR Supplier Delivery Performance Escalation process
o Development of strategic relationships with JLR Purchasing and STA management to ensure alignment supplier management activity and JLRQ+ performance.

• Leadership experience in multiple logistics disciplines (Supply Chain Management, Logistics Engineering)
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong influencing skills – ability to lead senior representatives in supplier environment
