The Team
IQVIA™Real-World Insights (RWI) teams work with clients to help them use complex, clinically rich, patient-level healthcare datasets to answer their specific questions globally, make more informed decisions, and deliver results. Our approach is unique in the industry and is defining the way companies can develop and apply Real World Insights (RWI) to provide deeper insight about market dynamics, therapy area changes, outcomes research and other scientific insights. Background
The role involves the development of pricing algorithms and extensive VBA programming using Excel. The purpose will be to support the development and design of a global pricing tool / database working together with a cross-functional team. This pricing tool should drive efficiency through simplicity, reduced stakeholder involvement, transparency and ultimately impact client satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
o Read, interrogate and program VBA in Excel at an in-depth level
o Analyze and re-engineer complex Excel pricing tool to achieve project / department / division goals
o Identifying issues and proposing improvements within the pricing tool and beyond
o Create database, capturing project specific information from the pricing tool
o Test, QA and improve existing tool / database to achieve efficiencies
o Delivery of process documentation
o UAT Support
o Drive maintenance and participate in governance of the pricing tool / database
o Ensure appropriate standards and procedures are adhered to during the programming process to provide quality
o Proactively works with project managers and cross-functional teams to gain an understanding of the business and its requirements
o Coordinates programming activities with other functions including service, consulting, business lines and sales, as appropriate
o Provide progress reports
Desired Skills and Experience
o Proficient in Excel based model development
o Extensive VBA programming experience (object orientated, user defined functions, scratch written code and error handling)
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
o Must be pro-active and hands-on
o Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and managers
o Fluent in English

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years or more relevant VBA programming experience. Knowledge of IQVIA™offerings and pharmaceutical industry and/or finance would be an asset.
