Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Lead the encapsulation MSD (Manufacturing System Design) process for the new projects in Lozorno. Prepare the PFD, PFMEA and Control Plan for new projects.
• Follow the Inteva PDP (Product Development Process) and participate in the PDT meetings during the development of new projects for Lozorno.
• Prepare specifications for machinery and equipment for the encapsulation process to produce automotive encapsulated glass panels.
• Follow up design and construction of new equipment at suppliers and ensure equipment is built to Inteva specifications. Conduct equipment pre-acceptance at suppliers.
• Installation of encapsulation equipment and tools at the Lozorno plant supporting the debug and start-up phase of the serial process. Conduct equipment acceptance at the Lozorno plant.
• Run the new tools and the encapsulation process at the Lozorno plant, producing samples and demonstrating the glass panels meet PU quality appearance and dimensional requirements.
• Define measurement equipment, component dimensions and tools adjustments required to achieve dimensional conformity.
• Support new products launches at Lozorno plant.
• Provide feedback to Tooling Engineers and Product Development Teams of issues detected during the first encapsulation trials.
