Are you a University student looking for ways to boost up your programming skills? On top of that, at Innovatrics you will get deeper into the biometric domain. - Implementation on our modern biometric access and attendance system (fingerprint and face recognition)
- Backend functionalities development in MVC framework Ruby On Rails, frontend development in React
- Production deployed on Cloud (AWS)
- Focus on features and code quality (testing, bug fixing, )
- Collaboration with the consulting team and business analysts
- Working in a great team of developers who share enthusiasm for the newest technologies
- Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
- You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well

- University student of Computer Science/Information technology
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
- At least basic experience with Rails framework and Ruby from school projects and willingness to improve your skills in this area
- Basic experience with frontend development (such as Javascript, CSS, HTML5)
- Basic knowledge SQL databases (such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL or other).
- Basic understanding of Git or similar SCM tool (SVN, Mercurial,…) and WebApi
- Good command of the English language
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Team player with a friendly attitude
- Advantage to know: Jenkins, Docker, basic usage of Linux based OS, RSpec, NodeJS, Jira, Kanban
