For our Shared Service Centre, we are looking for a Project Manager for dynamic, international and high-profile projects in the Global Change portfolio for Wholesale Banking and new bank wide initiatives. You will be part of Global Program team responsible for all migrations of operations and client’s services processes into the Shared Service Centre in Bratislava.

You will be the end to end owner of an assigned project delivery in accordance with risk and compliance policies, but at the same time guarding and overseeing and implementing the necessary changes to stay relevant and in perfect shape for the future. You live for Operational Excellence, Lean, Client Experience and Agile and know how to inspire your colleagues to do the same.

Your role as a Project manager
  • Responsible for coordinating a project team (up to 10 people) in order to deliver a solution to the customer
  • Responsible for managing scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk/issue management
  • Responsible for managing all project resources and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer
  • Provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer
  • For internal projects responsible for managing all project resources and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer
  • You work in a team with other project managers supporting team to increase their self-steering through our agile way of working.
  • You actively engage in continuous improvement and other team initiatives.
  • You coach colleagues who are part of the projects about your way of working and in the transition from followers towards being in the driver’s seat.
  • You help create a differentiating client experience.
  • You pro-actively manage your stakeholders across the organisation.

Proven track record and technical skills:
  • Education at University (Master or Bachelor) level in (business) economics or comparable
  • At least 3 years working experience as a project manager
  • Requested project experience is in sourcing- and migrations/centralization projects Experience in a complex, global and dynamic processing environment.
  • Knowledge of project methodology, or project certification is a must
  • Fluent English (both written and verbal) is mandatory
  • General knowledge of banking and financial products, computer skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, focus on details, drive for results
  • Team oriented with ability to work independently on tasks assigned directly to him/her
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to align stakeholders and bridge business and IT on all COPAFIT aspects
  • A personality and the capabilities to optimally function within an Agile environment.
  • Experience with agile, operational management and preferably with Lean Six Sigma is an advantage
