Our department Know Your Supplier as a part of ING Global Procurement Bank is responsible for the first line of defense against money laundering and terrorist financing, performing non-financial risk assessment of Suppliers. We have to identify the types of business relations and activities that a supplier is likely to engage in and determine whether these relations and activities could be suspicious and expose the bank to potential financial loss or reputational risk.
Thanks to you and your team ING knows how risky every supplier is, how often the supplier has to be checked and how far the research should go.

Tasks and responsibilities of Team Leader:

  • leading timely and accurate completion of Know Your Supplier in files in the assigned portfolio, including new supplier qualification,renewals and event-driven reviews of following business priorities
  • organizing daily operational stand-ups with your team of 10-15 people of a major department and participate in departmental retrospective meetings to balance the workload
  • enhancing the operational maturity and mind-set of the team, motivating, inspiring and coaching the team members in order to facilitate further development
  • aligning and interacting with the business and other stakeholders on workload, prioritization and escalating to the Head of department in case of issues
