How the right Local Marketing Manager´s profile should be?

  • Experience of working in a strategic communication, media and marketing management role, preferably in a customer-focused service/retail industry.
  • Experience of creating and implementing fact-based strategic plans, setting budgets and strong follow-ups.
  • Experience in making data-driven decisions and ability to use data and metrics to back up recommendations.
  • Leadership experience with excellent relationship building skills complemented by proven ability to cultivate and sustain strong working relationships in a matrix organisation.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in ambiguous situations and ability to self-manage and prioritize work to deliver on key goals.
  • Good knowledge of how to balance and merge environmental, social and economic aspects to define sustainability.
 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

What can you expect to do as a Local Marketing Manager?

  • Driving traffic to the IKEA market and IKEA website by attracting new and more visitors to visit more often, and throughout their life stages.
  • Leading and managing co-workers within the team and exercise an active collaboration with other functions
  • Create the market’s annual local marketing plan and strategy (including corporate and internal communication). Be part of the yearly business plan process.
  • Manage the local marketing budget for the market, secure alignment between internal and external communication activities and follow up all marketing investments.
  • Lead the work to create strategic plans, coordinate the execution and evaluate all local marketing activities and communication for Slovak based on directions provided by Service Office Marketing team.
  • Supports with analysis and intimate knowledge of people’s life at home and local market conditions to identify growth, positioning and segmentation strategies to expand our home furnishing market share.
  • Accountable in ensuring that the information on the web are up to date.
  • Accountable for internal communication materials and channels, supporting and driving co-worker engagement activities and securing a steady flow of information in channels.
  • Supporting initiatives to recruit, activate and retain IKEA Family to execute actions that increase penetration, member engagement and return on investment for the member programs. - Cooperation with external stake holders (NGOs, Shopping centre).

    Wage: 1800 € btt. - 2200 € btt. / monthly
