ABOUT THE JOB

The purpose of this function is to provide support in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our customers and co-workers and in protecting our assets and the IKEA brand. We are looking for highly motivated and competent business support partner, knowledgeable about the IKEA business and proactive in identifying existing and emerging risks and minimising the impact of these within the scope of our work.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Responsibility for fulfilling and following safety and security standards for our customers and co-workers within IKEA Group risk manual and local directives
  • Responsibility for compliance of fire safety regulations and work safety
  • Responsibility for functioning of external Security agency
  • Monitoring of technical condition of building with support of external companies
  • Securing regular S&S trainings for co-workers
  • Monitoring and maintenance of camera systems and intrusion system
  • Communication with police, contact person for local authorities
  • Maintenance of pool-car park
  • Handling insurance events related to the business
  • Regular reporting to Store management and Country risk manager

ABOUT YOU

Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
  • To be experienced in safety and security area and to be aware of trends
  • To have experience with safety and security equipment (CCTV, Electronic Fire Protection System etc.)
  • To have sense for Safety and Security prevention
  • To be of a good physical condition
  • To have excellent communication skills
  • To accept to take responsibility for your own decisions
  • Completed minimum secondary school
  • Knowledge of minimum MS Office and internet
  • Driving license, group B
  • Advanced level of English and Slovak language is a must
