The IBM European Pricing Center is a community of Trusted Business Advisors utilizing strong financial, business and leadership skills, best of breed processes and tools, delivering value in supporting services transactions during the “opportunity to order” engagement process.
IBM Global Business Services (GBS) offer our clients Application and Consulting Services, up to 10 years of duration, with contract values in 10s of millions USD.

Role:

The Pricing Advisor acts as a pre-sales financial and business case analyst for complex IT Services (Application Development and Maintenance, System Integration, Testing and Application Modernization, Consulting, Cloud Computing, IoT) deals in Europe. The Pricing Advisor works with sales consultants and solution architects in creation of price proposal towards clients. Cooperation will be required both in virtual teams as well as meeting the team onsite. This might require an occasional travel.

Main responsibilities are:
1. Translation of technical solution, contract Terms and Conditions, financial parameters, risks and IBM financial objectives into a price proposal.
2. Analysis of contract clauses and their impact on IBM financials.
3. Presentation of financials to the project and senior management team.
4. Financial advisory to protect IBM financials, to facilitate negotiations with the client, to word contract clauses, to apply right cost & revenue recognition method, to guide the engagement team through the approval process.

Requirements:
1. Fluent English.
2. Other spoken language is an advantage (French, Italian, German).
3. Solid financial background and business acumen.
4. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience (Share Services Center, IT/Telco, Bank or a similar FSS institution).
5. Previous experience in Pricing, Risk/ Credit evaluation is an advantage.
6. Strong communication and negotiation skills, assertiveness, stress and time management.
