Commodity Buyer

Our client is developing brand new products for our premium customer. As commodity buyer, you will create and implement purchasing strategies of designated commodities in order to support the global strategic selection.
Your main tasks will be to:

• Manage purchasing requests, buy the designated commodities - metal
• Analyze and negotiate lowest possible overall costs
• Negotiate yearly costs lowering
• Support project teams and track suppliers during the project with an emphasis on the respect of timetable, quality, costs, the terms of deliverance etc.
• Complete monthly reports for the purchasing department
• Attend the meetings of the selection committee
• Attend and help with the supplier audits
• Support the Group sites during serial production/problems with suppliers
