Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) advances the way people live and work. We bring together curious minds to create breakthrough technology solutions, helping our customers make their mark on the world.

The Manager Supply Chain GEO lead is positioned in-between one of the five sales regions (GEOs) in EMEA, the sales operations team, WW planning and the EMEA supply chain. Purpose of the team is to stay aligned with the business and GO GEO leads at all times. What opportunities are the sales teams driving, and are they aware of potential supply chain or material availability challenges or opportunities? How do the sales- and sales-operations teams inform customers about availability topics or about the factory cycle time of complex solutions? How do we as supply chain support sales to promote supply chain capabilities or steer customers to available product instead of constraint?

You carry responsibility for all of the above and more and this is what we call the GEO alignment process. We aim to prevent surprise orders to drop, in particular when they contain large- or unique material requirements. We communicate supply chain status into the GEO and in return we participate in deal and business reviews to update supply chain about the latest business trends. To achieve this you will need to measure and monitor performance indicators, have regular check point conference calls with the GEO and mentioned functions and attend standing meetings on the financial plan/flash, S&OP (Sales and Operation Planning) processes, deal reviews and others. As this role is all about partnership with internal customers and understanding of the business, communication skills and supply chain management experience are critical to be successful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 10 senior employees
• Ownership of overall GEO alignment process
• Responsible for Fulfillment Operation contribution to the $1m deal process
• Understand daily customer escalations & order prioritization issues for your GEO
• Drives weekly scorecard reporting for your GEO
• Responsible for the SC part of the S&OP process
• Part of the weekly sales engagement process
• Support of the executive supply chain summary communication
• Drive monthly post-mortem process for your GEO
• Own revenue assessment process for EMEA Fulfillment Operation
• Ownership of the EMEA prebuild process
