The Allocations Resource Manager (ARM) is responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of the people capacity based on business development opportunities and actual project needs. Streamline the allocations process through management by exception, clustering and data management. Considering the global business presence of HOTOVO, ARM will manage resources including our international teams and external partners.

To do this effectively, it is important to work across departments and closely collaborate with Business Office, Technology Office and HR Office.

WHAT WOULD YOUR JOB POSITION BE LIKE:
- Capacity planning. The ARM needs to make sure that we have enough resources to deliver for upcoming projects.
- Knowing the requirements of each project, an ARM is often the best person to identify people with project-appropriate qualifications.
- Propose staffing options to project assignment needs that align with skills, professional goals, and/or staffing preferences.
- Responsibility for External resources - maintain a pool of freelancers and dev companies to help manage demand peaks and ad-hoc expert requirements.
- Develop a lean and simplified resourcing process ensuring speed and efficiency in deployment of staff for new and existing business.
- Monitor utilisation statistics (weekly/monthly/annually) and develop appropriate analytics.
- Detailed understanding of current and future demand (based on the business pipeline). Guide capacity gaps/needs while ensuring optimal utilization of available staff.

ARM as part of the Project Office will collaborate with multiple teams within organizations:
- Business - defining duties for particular employees within a project and planning team capacity and forecasting recruitment needs.
- HR – they need to work together closely to hire appropriate people and define their roles.
- Project Leads - work with project leads to ensure demand is up to date and fit for purpose.
- Technology Stream Leads - collaborate with technology experts in order to find the best fit according to project needs.

- Previous experience in the role of RM or a similar role within IT/SW delivery environment

- Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently under minimal guidance and collaboratively with large teams
- Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context
- Ability to politely, but firmly, tell people things they don’t want to hear (e.g., certain resource not available)
- Advanced English level

BONUS SKILLS:
- Previous experience with capacity management toolset is beneficial
- Confident and outgoing, with a bias towards communicating in-person or over other communicators, rather than via email
