Network Architect

Major Technology business, looking for Network Architects, Network Designers, able to produce Network Designs for large enterprise level networks. You will ideally have CCDP, CCNP, CCIE qualifications, or Firewall experience. WAN, LAN, WLAN, FIREWALL, CISCO, FORTINET - any of these technologies

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for performing the engineering lifecycle functions of detailed low level design, implementation and hand over to production for part or all of a network technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical architecture. Leading technical projects whilst working with and under the direction of the Project Manager and with customer nominated representatives.
• Liaises with Solutions Architect or Capability SME as appropriate.
• Provides technical support and input on the application of technology to business requirements and provides advice on solution and integration opportunities.
• Provides technical leadership on specific integration activities that are part of an engagement.
• Provides planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment.
• Communicates across client community, and is viewed as adding value. Demonstrates execution of the HP strategy.
• Contributes to knowledge tools and communities, and ensures project learning's are documented and shared.

Profile:
• Degree in any IT discipline or Diploma in any IT discipline with at least 5 years of working experience
• At least 2 years of project implementation experience on Cisco wireless LAN, HPN routers and switches.
• Good knowledge in LAN/WAN, WLAN and DC solution.
• Fast learner and able to pick-up knowledge on multiple Enterprise IT technologies and capabilities.
• Fluency in conversational and technical English, written and spoken.
• Exposure in Project Management Coordination and Execution is essential.
• Exposure to ITSM/ ITIL processes preferable.

Certification:
• Cisco CCNP/ HPN ASE Certification, or the equivalent in other professional certification and work experience.

• Good motivational skills plus verbal and written communication skills, strong command of English Language.
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
