Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our international centre providing service in administration and finance is looking for a “Accounts Receivable Specialist” for the department of Order to Cash. This role is responsible for investigating customer payment discrepancies, ensure prompt resolution of such and apply adjustments and reconciliation.

Main Responsibilities:

- Maintain customer accounts, address customer inquiries and ensure ongoing communication of information to the Accounts receivable Supervisor
- Review and apply select customer payments
- In conjunction with the Accounts receivable supervisor, ensure that the various customer accounts are kept reconciled and up-to-date
- Coordinate investigation with other departments and ensure resolution
- Once resolved (approved or denied), enter the appropriate adjustment in SAP
- If denied, forward all supporting documentation to customer credit rep/key rep to ensure full payback

Personality requirements and skills

- Experience in operational accounting, account reconciliation or collections management
- Manufacturing, distribution industry or shared services experience beneficial
- Advance English
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Communication skills and customer orientation
- Ability to focus on details and to deal sensitively with confidential material
- Team working skills
- Practical thinking & problem solving

Required education

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)
