Sourcing Hub concentrates E2E Sourcing management and Purchasing strategy execution. Performed activities include: market screening, e-sourcing, direct negotiations with suppliers on prices and contracts, decision making on supplier onboarding / delisting & category specific tasks. Sourcing Hub splits into Adhesive Technologies, Beauty & Laundry Care, Indirect materials & Services and Logistics clusters to reflect dedication to the business units.

Your role

  • Responsible for the purchasing of Technical Supply (Capital Investments, Maintenance services and materials), covering worldwide scope
  • Explores opportunities and sources investments related to Sustainability and other areas (i.e. photovoltage, waste water treatment, solar energy, new technology boilers, etc.)
  • Executes sourcing events, negotiates and contracts new or existing suppliers in line with the global Technical Supply purchasing strategy
  • Challenges and enriches the Categories' objectives, goals and strategies, including all short, mid and long-term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategies
  • Identifies and implements best business partnerships in close cooperation with the other Category Team Members, local purchasing departments and Category Team Leaders
  • Aligns and cooperates with technical departments, engineering companies, building management
  • Handles activities related to supplier management, invoice reconciliation, contract management

Your skills

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in strategic purchasing of indirect materials for a global company; purchasing of CAPEX, MRO or Utilities considered as advantage
  • Excellent communication skills with negotiating, influencing and convincing abilities
  • An open mindset that can react creatively on changes in the markets and our company
  • Project management knowledge and team player attitude
  • Analytical thinking and conceptual skills
  • Working proficiency in English is mandatory, other language is an advantage
  • Flexibility to cover partially other time zones (6 p.m. - 7 p.m.)
