Job description, responsibilities and duties
A unique opportunity for a senior professional to join the global team of Project Managers
Manufacturing within Hella:
Your main responsibilities in your global role will be :
• Accountable for operations topics from quotation to industrialization of project
• Defining and supervising a common project management governance and monitor project maturity incl. internal tasks within Operations by involving Launch & Change Management Heads and Project Manager Operations at Plant side
• Steering/Supporting/Coaching the different Project Manager Operations/Series at all involved production locations and ensuring an interdisciplinary working environment
• Instructing and supporting employees out of LCM organization in a target-oriented and motivating manner
• Identifying deviations between project requirements and production capability (People, Qualification, Technology, Plant Readiness, Manufacturability)
• Challenging the launch readiness of a plant for a dedicated project based on defined strategy out of SCU process
• Supporting industrialization (footprint) based on strategic plant performance comparison during Strategic planning process and being part of the acquisition process. Preparing and fostering strategic decisions
• Defining and controlling a common project management governance and monitor project maturity incl. internal tasks / work packages within Operations
• Manage and supervise achievement of cost, timing and quality targets out of Operations perspective on a PC level by involving regional / local resources and activities in collaboration with the LCM organization
• Informing and involving Stakeholder in situations that could endanger targets, in order to achieve the necessary clarification and decisions. Presenting reports of industrialization results to the stakeholder in the agreed scope and at agreed point of time, in order to make the necessary information transparent for processes and decisions
• Taking over the central coordination and harmonized customer communication of change management with multiple usage / different involved production locations
• Taking over the coordination or management of global Operations projects / task forces, if necessary, outside the respective area of responsibility
• Readiness for 10% travel time abroad
• Readiness to work in different time zones
• Readiness to work in multicultural / international environment

• more than 6 years of experience in the field of manufacturing, program or project management, preferably in automotive company (OEM, TIER1, TIER2)

• active knowledge of English

• target oriented, self-motivated and self-organized person with high level of contextual thinking
