Personality requirements and skills
- experience with one of application /web servers: IIS, Tomcat, jBoss, Apache httpd, WebSphere (troubleshooting, bottlenecks and bug-hunting)
- knowledge of automation of routine tasks, in one or more Windows/Linux shells
- knowledge of HTTP protocol, encryption (SSL/TLS) and load balancing
- knowledge of Continuous Integration Tools
- knowledge of network basics and security aspects
- knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and/or Windows server
- knowledge of typical deployment chains across multiple environments in clustered infrastructure
- knowledge of monitoring tools and monitoring best practices
- knowledge of VMware virtualisation platform
- knowledge of programming/scripting languages (be able to understand, track and debug application logs)
- knowledge of automation of routine tasks, in one or more Windows/Linux shells
