Job description, responsibilities and duties

Strategy and Leadership
• Develops and implements production strategy for GLOBSEC flagship events;
• Creates new concepts and features for events;
• Oversees the quality standards of the work of the Production Department;
• Identifies improvement opportunities and drives action plans;
• Inspires and professionally develops team members responsible for event management, protocol, security, graphics, side events of flagship conferences;
• Smoothly cooperates with other GLOBSEC’s departments;
• Comfortably manages complex teams, both internal and external contractors, including task-distribution and set-up of smart goals while working in a fluid, dynamic organization.
Production of GLOBSEC events
• Develops production plans for GLOBSEC events from start to end according to a target audience, objectives, and requirements;
• Coordinates implementation of production plans on time and on a budget for the effective but impressive event, with focus on high-level customer experience;
• Oversees on-spot production – management of interns and external suppliers (technicians and photographers), ensures quality check controls and resolves to arise on-spot issues;
• Manages relationships with suppliers/partners in respective portfolios with truly amazing negotiation, operational, and logistics skills;
• Manages broadcast facilities for GLOBSEC events including liaising with broadcasters to secure cameras, studio facilities, satellite broadcast and related equipment/resources in coordination with external suppliers
• Oversees post-event evaluation and develops lessons learned;
• Manages the delivery of specific event-related graphical products and outputs utilizing internal graphic designers as well as external suppliers;
• Accountability for overall expenses budget of Production Department;
• Portfolio – large scale flagship events, public dialogues, roundtable discussions, gala dinners, social and networking events

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

• 4+ years of experience in event production including a high-level understanding of audio-visual equipment, electrical and photo marketing/lead generation systems;
• 3+ years of experience in leading diverse teams/projects management;
• Thinks innovatively, blending big ideas with realistic execution limitations;
• The solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work constructively with others in time-sensitive circumstances;
• Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills;
• Optimizes diverse talent, develops people, values differences and builds effective team Protocol is plus;
• Audience – ministries and high-level guests, well known public figures;
• Negotiation with contractors & securing long terms agreements, nurturing long term cooperation;
• Fluent in written and spoken communication in English.
