Nature and aim of the position
The holder of this position is responsible for collaboration local offices and Vienna, collaboration in Team Vienna, fully Support of Accounting manager, Backup for the Team
Main duties and responsibilities
Leading the team of accountants responsible for CZ10, SK11, HR10 and SI11:
Cash Flow Forecast preparation
responsibility for month end and yearend closing bookings/checkings with full support for Accounting manager and local tax advisors
Inventory preparation and calculation
Payroll bookings in Exact (not calculation – calculation provided by a local payroll provider)
reconciliation BS+P/L accounts
Taxes – income, WHT, deferred (accrual calculation + support for tax advisors)
VAT (calculation, preparation, booking, providing to the tax authorities, explanations to the tax authorities)
Contact point for local authorities and auditors
Control and authorization of payments and bank collections
Support Projects
Support local requests
Responsible for group result
providing local authorities with local statements
full Backup for the Team members and Accounting manager, professional and technical support to all employees of the department in their daily routine
Process check (different types of refund)
Reporting and collaboration
The Teamleader reports directly to the Accounting manager.
The position requires close collaboration within local internally Team, local office Team in Czech republic and Slovakia, Processing Bratislava, Accounting Manager, GB Service Team and generally Finance Team Vienna

Education: accounting – University degree (not mandatory)
Skills: Windows office, knowledge from any accounting system, more than 5 years of experience – important is the proved experience of local statutory accounting (Slovakia or CZ)
Abilities: work under pressure, team work, work in international enviroment
Other characteristics: autonomy and independence, good communication skills
Good English language skills (oral & written), German at least basic, Slovak or Czech
Independent, goal-oriented and self-motivating personality.
Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
Specific skills and knowledge:
Experience managing a team or department, including interviewing, coaching, and building development plans.
Strong accounting knowledge and experience
Local language skills (CZ, SK) required
German language – advantage
Desirable 5 years experience, preferably in an international environment.
Team player with social competence
Ability to manage a team of 3 accountants
Work independently to complete assignments, while knowing limits of knowledge and when to seek help
