Job description
Automation Consultant will be a member of highly specialized Automation team working for the biggest German energy Trading company. Consultant will be focusing both on maintenance and further development of existing automation of Tests and Business processes for various technologies and on various application levels (GUI, DB, API, webservices). To be able to push the automation to the next level Consultant will be having solid technological background and good overview in modern technologies. Consultant will be bringing and working on new ideas, innovative automation solutions, be able to consult with customer, application owners and team members. Also, consultant will be part of continuous integration and continuous deployment.
Required skills
• Solid technological background and eagerness in new technologies, gadgets, new IT trends, ideas and research
• Overview in modern technologies (Cloud, AWS, containers, rest API, MQ, Chef etc.)
• Good Testing knowledge (understanding of Testing fundamentals)
• Experience with automation tools and/or development and programming techniques
Skills considered as advantage
• ISTQB certification
• Experience with designing of automation framework
• Experienced in cooperation with Agile teams
• SQL, HTML and XML basics
• .NET and/or Java basics
• Team City/Jenkins basics
• Subversion, GIT
• HP UFT/LeanFT, Selenium, AutoIT, HP ALM, RedwoodHQ
• Oracle, MS SQL
• Jira, Confluence
