Senior JAVA Developer responsible for implementation and maintenance of JAVA applications.
Act as technical lead for project related functional areas responsible for leading small team of developers on the project.
The candidate should consult and work closely with other team members, testers, business analysts, system architects to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Take the High level description of a solution and provide technical breakdown for junior developers.
• Technical breakdown needs to be described and documented in internal tracking system (Jira/Confluence).
• Distribute the tasks within the team members (including himself).
• Ensure the quality of a code implemented by junior java developers.
• Track the work of the junior developers on daily basis to ensure the agreed delivery time.

Excellent knowledge of Java 8 (lambdas, streams, date api)
• Strong experience in writing unit, component and integration tests
• Experience with test frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, RestAssured, Cucumber
• Working experience with Maven and multi module project management (preferably Maven reactor pattern)
• Good knowledge of Spring framework (spring security, spring web, spring boot, spring data, spring integration)
• Experience with front-end web frameworks, preferably Dojo, Thymeleaf, Angular is a plus.
• Experience with ORM tools, preferably JPA and Hibernate
• Experience with SpringBoot, experience with SpringCloud is a plus
• Good understanding of inter service communication – synchronous and asynchronous
• Experience with RESTful services, good knowledge of HTTP communication
• Experience with messaging (JMS, AMQP, Kafka)
• Skilled in code versioning, git preferred
• Understanding of software design, UML and design patterns
• Aware of common industry standards, coding best-practices and software development best practices
• Understanding of microservices architecture and pattens (12 factor app, reactive manifesto)
• Experience with linux and containers
• Experience with cloud technologies is a plus
