Join First Data as a Senior Application Developer in our Global Business Solutions Team and embark on a career where you will be working on embedded software design and implementation on Ingenico Telium2 and Tetra platform to deliver state of the art POS applications based on new NEXO standard.

About the Role:
Its an exciting time to join First Data! As we continue to grow and win new projects we are looking to hire driven and passionate developers in to our team in Bratislava.
As a Senior Application Developer on the team you will be working on new International Projects.

You will be responsible for:
Software development of payment applications and additional value added services primary on Ingenico Terminal platform (Telium2 and Tetra family)
Agreeing and implementing enhancements of existing SPDH application with project teams
Technical specification of changes to be done on POS software
Complying to all security related standards needed in payment industry like PCI
Helping integrate the solution into First Data landscape and support surrounding teams during testing phase
Executing changes according First Data change policies
Gaining detailed knowledge of Europe wide NEXO standard
Working closely with internal testing team and operations if issues occur in production to solve problems

About You:
Here at First Data we are always looking for passionate, empowered and innovative individuals to join us. In addition to this we are also looking for the following skills and experience in relation to this role:
Strong coding skills in C and C+
Experience in embedded programming
Good working knowledge of standard tools like: Git, Gerrit, Jira, Confluence for standard software development lifecycle
A team player and with the ability to work with international teams locally and remotely
Fluency in English is essential
Knowledge of card transaction processing and POS terminals is a beneficial – including NEXO
HTML5 knowledge is an advantage
