Accountant with Budapest location

Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact with Tax authorities, advisors and auditors
  • Participating in the monthly and yearly closure (preparation of Annual Report, Balance Sheet, P&L)
  • Keeping daily contact with Czech/ Slovak business partners
    • AR/AP matching activities
    • Invoice inquiries
    • Preparation of payments
  • Managing outgoing/incoming invoicing through automatic flows in various IT systems
  • Issuing manual invoices from SAP
  • Credit limit utilization controlling
    • Follow-up of automatically created invoices in SAP
    • Managing e-invoicing system
  • Issuing manual invoices from SAP
  • Credit limit utilization controlling
    • Managing bank warranties and cash deposits
    • Follow-up of factoring activities, keeping contact with factor company
    • Manual blocking and release of invoicing for risky customers
    • Preparation of dunning letters

Requirements:

  • Fluent Czech - or Slovakian, and English language skills (preferred Hungarian)
  • College degree (preferably in economics or accounting)
  • Chartered accountant certificate (preferred)
  • Experience with SAP and MS Office skills, specifically Excel
  • Automotive industry is advantage
  • Ability to work independently and proactively within the team
  • Analytical skills, accurate
  • Strong problem solving, service oriented and communication skills
