The Retail Manager manages the total operation of their assigned store and supervises the store and employees. The Retail Manager is responsible for the training and development of their employees. They will generate sales through their team, perform out standing customer service, and maximize profits by controlling expenses. Other duties include but are not limited to; development of the Deputy Store Manager in management responsibilities, and protecting company assets. The Retail Manager must develop strong working relationships with the Regional Manager and head office support departments.

Skills:
• 4 years retail experience. Mini. 2 year management experience required.
• Previous experience in cosmetic field preferred. Specialty store management backgrounds a plus.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable managing and supervising people.
• Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and deal with change
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of English
• Business minded personality, driven to succeed
Effort:
This position requires excellent communication skills to be performed on a daily basis. This position requires moderate physical effort. Some unpacking and packing of materials is required when restocking the floor supplies. There may be moving and setting up of displays and other events taking place in your location. At counters, one must stand nearly 8 hours.
