What to do
- Support as platform engineer for a complex inhouse developed securities trading platform
- Develop our operations and system monitoring
- Perform regular infrastructure reviews to identify deficiencies
- Cloud architecture and dependencies reviews
- Optimize non-functional features of the platform like low latency and high availability
- Support on documentation and knowledge sharing with focus on operations & monitoring
You check these boxes
- Enrolled Master's student with on-going program at university (Uni, FH)
- Fluent in English, German is an advantage
- Background in Cloud Computing and DevOps
- Basic knowledge of continuous integration and delivery using Git, Jenkins, Apache Maven or similar to deploy microservices
- Basic knowledge in one or more of our core technologies: RedHat Openshift, docker, ELK Stack, Linux, PostgreSQL, hazelcast, Apache Kafka, Webservices (JSON/REST)
- Basic scripting skills (bash, PowerShell)
- Interested in: Trading (banking) systems, IT Service Management and Operations, Monitoring real-time systems (Prometheus, Grafana or similar) and Protocols: RESTful APIs
