Erste Group is one of the largest banks in the CEE region and it’s Risk Division is supplemented with a group-wide service center (Erste Group Service Center, EGSC) in Bratislava. As team member of EGSC you will be part of this service model in Bratislava. We are looking for flexible personalities who are eager to learn and bring in their competencies and engagement to create with the new colleagues an efficient and excellent working organization. Within Erste Group Risk Management the business area Risk Methods and Models is responsible for methodological and modelling aspects of the management of credit, market and liquidity risk group-wide. It combines the units of Model Risk Framework, Market and Liquidity Risk and Credit Risk Methods and Models.

The “Risk Project HUB” department has been recently set up to address a rapidly growing project portfolio due to many upcoming regulatory demands in the entire Risk area. Our goal is to ensure a coordinated and structured change management process driven by demands out of the various CRO Divisions in strong cooperation with OneIT and all steering areas in the bank on group as well as on legal entity level.

The key focus of the position is:

  • drive major improvements in Erste Group´s Risk infrastructure (policies, tools, models, calculation engines, data, limit systems)
  • re-engineer major business processes (e.g. collateral management)
  • monitor all corrective measures necessary to ensure regulatory compliance
  • coordinate all relevant activities within projects in a cross-functional as well as in a central/local dimension
YOU:
  • are an experienced business analyst in the area of Credit Risk, having a very good knowledge of products, processes and/or IT applications in this area;
  • are well experienced in writing business specifications and have a deep knowledge of Credit Risk environment as well as a general know-how of banking and financial services;
  • are responsible for the analysis and support the implementation of business requirements in close cooperation with members from the business side (Credit Risk area) and IT;
  • are experienced with banking business models, preferably in Credit Risk Management;
  • offer consulting and project management know-how and experience ideally in multinational projects;
  • ensure a proper level of documentation for the business requirements;
  • design test cases and support the responsible business units during the testing process;
  • have a university degree in economics or business discipline and at least 5 years in business analysis, ideally having worked in an international environment;
  • have excellent planning, organizing and analytical skills and have an open-minded, result- and target-oriented personality;
  • bring excellent analytical skills, communication and presentation skills as well as a strong and driven personality with a pro-active attitude and the ability to resolve conflicts without unnecessary escalation;
  • are efficient and flexible and have the ability to handle and prioritize parallel tasks and respond to ad hoc requirements as well as to cope with pressure and stress;
  • are proficient in English language. German and/or CEE language advantageous.
