Linux System Engineer [project in biotechnology]

We are looking for System Engineer who would join our team working for Swiss customer in field of biotechnology. If you are an IT Administrator with Linux experience, this role is tailored just for you!

Your Profile:
• Background in System Engineering
• Experience with Linux - 1+ years
• Programming skills are a plus
• Experience in scripting
• Basic networking skills
• Experience with Jenkins, LXC, and virtualization is a plus

Your Tasks:
• Development and maintenance of Bash scripts for Debian configuration according to specific requirements
• Implementation of Python modules for Debian including unit-tests using PyUnit and PyTest frameworks
• Testing functionality and configuration in Linux containers
• System troubleshooting and debugging
• Support customer in testing on staging environment
• Effort estimation and solution design for specific configuration requirements
• Active participation in SCRUM and SAFe meetings with rest of the team (3 people)
