Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Securing quality and efficiency of accounting operations (Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger and others where applicable) in the country
• Actively supporting of the Global Shared Service Centre
• Statutory, legal and tax reporting, statistics
• Payroll administration, booking
• Responsibility for monthly closings in accounting area
• Taxes – VAT, CIT, Road Tax
• Cooperation with Tax Advisors and Auditors in order to complete CIT and financial statements for legal entity
• Monitoring overall productivity and quality levels to ensure the GSSO team meets or exceeds agreed service levels
• Ensuring that any operational or performance issues escalated by involved parties get resolved in a timely and appropriate fashion
• Developing and implementing Operations improvement and standardization projects
• Cooperation with the Projects team on ongoing projects in accounting and HR area
• Ensure archiving of accounting documents in line with the local requirements
• HR administration – employee´s contracts, addendums, taxes, data changes, GDPR, cooperation with local lawyers
• Identifying of all legal changes and share them with the GSSO Community (accounting law, labor law)

Personality requirements and skills

Proactive, flexible, precise, team worker, able to work under pressure with problem solving attitude.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting/controlling.
- Experience in administrative processes in different kinds of companies (Production, sales, services, etc)
- Accounting experience including local statutory and tax regulations.
- Experience from leading / participating in administrative improvement projects is an advantage.
- College or university degree in business administration/ economics/ finance
- Good MS office knowledge
- Experience in ERP ( SAP, Scala), MS Office
- Experience in working in a / within a multicultural, international environment is an advantage
- Full time dedicated
- Available to occasional travel to other group units when required.
- Languages: English, Slovak
