In this role, you will be expected to be able to manage and deliver operation based on Oracle and MSSQL RDBMS. The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the RDBMS. The DBA provides technical support in the design, implementation and maintenance of database management systems.
When you join us, you will be a part of teams who have been delivering all scale projects for either the public sector or the commercial in Slovakia. Our projects have gained many acknowledgements and appreciations from e.g., ITAPA and other IT community forums. We have been delivering projects which make life of Slovak citizens easier, like well known OverSi project or CSRU.
As a well-known, respected, and appreciated vendor we work with clients across all sectors, for example:
• Volkswagen Slovakia – the biggest car producer in Slovakia
• Mobis – the main vendor for KIA in Slovakia
• Stredoslovenska energetika/Stredoslovenska distribucna
• Zapadoslovenska energetika/Zapadoslovenska distribucna
• Ministerstvo Financii, Statna pokladna
• Ministerstvo Investicii, regionalneho rozvoja a informatiky
• Ministerstvo vnutra SR

In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Installation, upgrades, maintenance, backup/recovery strategies, monitor and fix database issues
• Participation in project support aimed on improvement of existing database infrastructure
• 1st – 2nd level support and handling of the Incidents and Change and Problem-Management
• Documentation updates
• Teamwork
