Job scope/summary: This person will take ownership of the design, development and testing of the Hybrid Cloud solutions towards automation. He/she will work with a development (SCRUM) team on the actual coding and scripting, and will work with the product owner and possibly the client to detail the requirements.
He/She must have experience with CSA, OO, HP SA - Server Automation and scripting.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

• End to End responsibility for technical content of deliverables produced by SCRUM Teams
• Translate functional requirements to technical solutions
• Promote standardization and automation during transformation in T&T engagements
• Ensure developed solutions are aligned with software repositories
• Ensure that existing deliverables/templates are leveraged to satisfy new work request
• Ensure applicable content standards are met
• Ensure peer review deliverables are logged in
• Store engineering related collateral in approved configuration management repository
• Integrate and collaborate with other organizations/resources (other teams, vendors, suppliers, customers) during engineering life cycle
• Thought Leadership / Technical Point Of Contact for tower/project teams.
• Support the production application document and database data models
• Ensure the successful delivery of the required automation workflows based on client requirements and project schedule
• Support Hand-over to production of implemented solutions
• Ensure projects and tasks to be performed with the highest quality and according to documentation in predefined timelines

Key deliverables/accountabilities:
• Create and validate
o Define and document application and database data models
o Solution and design of HP-CSA, HP Server Automation, Operations Orchestration and SRA tools
o Consult customers, SCRUM Teams, Lead Architects in automation area
o Provide technology input for Agile automation user stories
o Develop and revise the technology scripts as part of overall automation use cases
o Documentation along Agile requirements
o Provide/supervise operational acceptance cases

Education (degree) and professional experience required:
• Degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or electrical engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in application development and analysis
• Customer facing experience
• Experience in:
o Cloud (VPC, MSV, Azure or AWS)
o infrastructure
o In-depth knowledge in CSA, OO, SA - Server Automation and scripting VMWare, Hyper-V

Other requirements: (language and certification requirements, different than formal education)

• Fluent in written and verbal English

Personal skills and qualities:
• Able to manage a team of automation engineers, SCRUM Team.
• Ability to develop solutions that enhance the availability, performance, maintainability and agility of a particular customer's enterprise. Has contributed to the design and application of new automation workflows.
• Ability to re-use existing experience to develop new solutions to take to market.
• Possesses an understanding, at a detailed level, of architectural dependencies of technologies in use in the customer's Information Technology (IT) environment. Frequently uses product and application knowledge along with internals or architectural knowledge to develop solutions. A recognized expert in one or more technologies within own technical community and also at regional level. Holds a vendor or industry certification in at least one discipline area.
• Ability to work in a multi technology environment with the ability to diagnose complex technical problems to their root cause. In addition to troubleshooting skills and consulting skills, has ability to summaries prognosis and impact at practice lead level. Ability to adapt a consulting style appropriate to the situation and can identify up-sell opportunities.
• Ability to present within own area of expertise as part of a customer sales presentation, putting forward domain-specific information within the context of an HPE sales campaign. Has demonstrated ability to lead others in the gathering of requirements, designs, plans and estimates. Able to produce complete proposals for smaller engagements within own area of expertise.
• Be able to demonstrate a broad understanding of market dynamics, an industry area, commercial issues, and technical concerns whilst maintaining depth in core focus area.

Technical skills: (procedures and documents the employee has to be acquainted with):
• Must have Strong understanding on Automation.
• Experience in translating and documenting use cases and user stories from a product owner into a software service design
• Experience in defining and documenting application and database data models
• Experience including solution design and implementation of HP-CSA, HP Server Automation and HPE Enterprise Services SRA tools along with HPOO (Operations Orchestration)
• Experience with VMware hypervisor base (or Hyper-V hypervisor base)
• Ability to perform consulting assessment reviews and assisting client with development, execution and testing of overall solution.
• Must have experience in defining service catalogues, provisioning workflows and subscription hierarchies.
• Must have good understanding of tools involved in enabling cloud life cycle management, infrastructure provisioning automation, and service request management.
• Work with technical leads from infrastructure domains like Compute, Storage, and Network etc. to develop a comprehensive technical design for the automation.

• Experience in billing and charge back.
• Understanding of tools involved in service request management.
• Understanding of technologies like virtualization across storage, security and networking domains.
• Familiarity with networking & security solutions like routing, switching, Firewalls etc.
