Job description, responsibilities and duties

Position Overview
As a Senior IT Services Analyst you will be required to analyze and prioritize business needs, understand and evaluate and optimize current systems and processes, overall performance and costs. Together with Solution Architect team, you will identify, design, and implement trends which will improve current solutions for both internal and external stakeholders and therefore, you will have excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

You are responsible for
• building/designing, configuration and testing structure and operational models for existing and new customers;
• deployment of mid/large-scale applications and architecture projects;
• implementation and transition of new service solutions in an efficient and effective manner with the emphasis on service excellence and successful first-time delivery;
• developing, implementing, and maintaining business rules;
• installing and configuring ATM’s and other self-service checkout devices into our internal monitoring systems;
• continuously monitor the performance of those systems, devices and services;
• where required support and advice Solution Architects on the design of new services and solutions;
• frequently engage with various stakeholders regarding new or changed features and solutions;
• document new solutions and processes;
• onboarding and training new team members;

• Minimum salary 1 800 EUR gross per month, depending on experience
• Annual bonus of 10% calculated on the basis of personal performance and company results

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Professional education/degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical
• Minimum of 8 years of technology experience, with at least 5 years hands-on technical roles
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with operating systems such as Microsoft Windows or Linux related technologies
• Knowledge of ITSM according to ITIL
• Experience in ICT services
• Knowledge of Monitoring tools, their setup and rulesets (System Management)
• Basic knowledge of Configuration Management and Infrastructure Deployment tools
• Understanding of network diagram and topology (LAN, WAN, protocols, ports, …)

Additional Skills and Experience
• Some experience with Bash/Java or other scripting languages
• Good understanding of IT technologies and their impact on other IT infrastructure
• Experience with Enterprise environment, Banking and Retail Endpoints Monitoring Setup (ATMs, Tills, etc.) is an advantage
• Forward-thinking, analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work on your own as well as part of the team
• Process documentation and description, working aids and manuals
• Process optimizations
• Ability to work on shifts
