Position Overview
As a Process Specialist within Security Process Improvement you are responsible to analyze, monitor, and evaluate Diebold Nixdorf’s Information Security processes. Become part of a team that establishes continuous improvements in our people, processes and technologies to identify areas of efficiency and effectiveness that will help drive a world class Information Security organization.

You are responsible for
• Working with cross functional teams to assess existing processes and analyze key performance indicators for the Information Security function
• Conducting effective reviews with key stakeholders to gain knowledge about existing processes and to understand process objectives, regulatory guidelines, existing documentation, and performance of the process
• Creation of process diagrams with associated documentation, as well as advancing standards for process and technology documentation
• Contributing to or managing Information Security projects that implement or enhance process improvements
• Planning and participating in process improvement workshops
• Cultivating relationships with security, business and IT leadership and stakeholders
• Maintaining knowledge of Information Security policies, standards and procedures

Personality requirements and skills

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant professional field or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 2 years’ business experience in requirements engineering, continuous process or process analysis
• Exceptional attention to detail, ability to analyze and abstract complex issues concerning root cause to derive potential solutions
• Results oriented team player with good listening and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Broad knowledge of information security principles (e.g. access control, risk assessment, audit, process evaluation, configuration management, incident management, etc.)
• Proven understanding of risk and project management methodologies is a plus
• Demonstrates self-motivation, intellectual curiosity, and a high degree of independence
• Ability to effectively communicate and present to both technical staff and executives
• Advanced level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint and BPMN
