Job description, responsibilities and duties

Tasks:
  • Steering the voice service transformation from the European subsidiaries into International Delivery Unit / Pan-European network with the goal to ultimately retire legacy production. This includes alignment/monitoring of onboarding and implementation roadmap, steering respective preparations and steering/monitoring the delivery of the International Delivery Unit/Pan-European network services to the subsidiaries, customer migration and legacy retirement.
  • Initiation and leading of technology integration/migration projects in Europe with multinational Project teams.
  • Support and participate in development of technical solution concepts and analyzing of commercial offers.
  • Support and ensure proper prioritization of local implementation resources and budget.
  • Support and drive collaboration of involved units (internal, external, group-wide and international) and EU subsidiaries.
  • Organization of international best practice sharing.
  • Manage technology lifecycle (e.g. change management, performance reviews, quality assurance).
  • Collaboration with Europe business units and International Technology & Service delivery units in area of voice service production.
  • Advising management/clients regarding further development of the respective business field
  • Selection and justification of the optimal solution for the systematic and early detection of project risks
  • Controlling the cooperation with the parties involved in the project (internal, external, group-wide, and international) as well as the client's contact person
  • Participation in the evaluation of offers and solution concepts
  • Contractual, commercial, legal, and technical assessment of risks in projects in the area of ​​responsibility as well as derivation of fields of action

  •  Specific skills (Methods, trends, language, knowledge): University degree with focus on telecommunications, engineering and have expert knowledge with more than 5 years of work experience in the area of network technology in fixed and mobile networks.
  • Knowledge of the relevant platform supplier market in particular in voice service production.
  • Experience in dealing with voice service platforms including the respective supporting systems.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
  • Strong communications skills in English (fluent spoken and written), good communication skills in German is a plus.
