What will you do?

Purpose
Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s. Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes. Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

• Deep knowledge of Solaris and Linux
• Engineering of scripts, salt, new work procedures and automation
• Experienced in Red Hat Satellite , Saltmaster (including enterprise extension), Git repositories and RPM builds
• Heavily involved in standardization process (using salt)
• Responsible for documentation
• First contact in case of all kinds of customer issues (performance and application issues)

You will succeed if you:

Education/ Experience
Relevant degree or previous experience as an Engineer for Linux and Solaris

Languages

• English - Upper intermediate (B2)
• German advantage

Other criteria or requirements

• Knowledge of the ITIL processes an advantage

Wage (gross)

1 850 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits.
