Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Main purpose and responsibilities on the Carrier and Special Moves Coordinator role are:
• Support large manufacturing site in Nitra by ensuring evacuation and delivery timelines are met through effective communication and planning with the assigned standard and Special Moves carriers,
• Represent Special Moves and be single point of contact for the customer for out of Nitra Special Moves,
• Transfer relevant planning and vehicle specific information to all parties especially carriers within the area of responsibility including production forecast, TQM (Transport Qaluty Manual) and information on priority vehicles,
• Support the customer and LLP FVD team by preparing reports on agreed schedules and prepare specific statistics, evaluations based on agreements and requirements,
• Support all parties by aligning to a common targets by effective liaising and take active part in carrier evaluation,
• Act as liaison between UK based Special Moves, the customer, Compound Operator and other relevant parties in Nitra.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

preferably logistics or technical

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Transport operational experience in LLP operations, in Supply Chain division and multi modal transport operations (Road, Rail, Air & Sea)
• Excellent understanding of road and rail transport, transport planning, transport equipment, automotive
• Excellent communication, planning, analytical and statistical skills
• Resilient, decisive, pragmatic, able to learn existing process and apply controlled change if required
• Experience with transport quality in automotive
• Familiar with finished world-wide vehicle delivery practices, procedures and processes
• Secondary or university education – preferably logistics or technical
• Logistics/transport operational background
• Knowledge of MS Office package, Power BI, SAP BO
• Automotive FVD experience is an advantage
• Fluent English and Slovak language knowledge
