Job description, responsibilities and duties

Committed to excellence, we are currently looking for a high-quality individual to join our growing team as ERP Integration Engineer.

As ERP Integration Engineer you will be working with internal business customers as well as external partners and developers in order to accurately identify and/or verify requirements, map schemas, and transform data values as needed. You will also map schemas and orchestrate business processes focused on ERP Interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside other team members engaging in engineering and operational support design while remaining focused on the Dynamics AX 2009 Application Integration Framework (AIF) support
  • Read and understand published guidelines and companion guides for electronic data interchange transactions
  • Work directly with users, business analysts and developers to understand data structures, record formats and field values
  • Design, build, and manage end-to-end Dynamics AX 2009 AIF applications in a team environment
  • Create user and technical documentation, including trading partner guides
Trouble shoot and maintain production interfaces
  • Collaborate with team members on AIF, EDI, SSIS and BizTalk Server concepts and techniques
  • Document interface requirements and process flows
  • Create test plans, test cases, and perform functional/technical interface testing
  • Translate complex business processes into deployable and functional solutions
  • Develop an excellent working relationship with the Dynamics AX ‘superusers’ and the AX deployment / business process team.
  • Continuous observation and analysis of existing interface workload, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve interface issues conferring with all teams impacted as needed
  • Assist with anticipating, monitoring, diagnosing, and identifying interface performance problems
  • Write and maintain work Instructions for new and existing interfaces
  • Follow Software Implementation Life Cycle (SILC) and Change Control processes

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree, ideally in IT/computer science
  • MS Dynamics certification is a plus
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT field
  • Solid understanding of IT systems and System Integration Techniques including EDI, XML, XML Schemas, XPath, XSLT and Web services
  • Working knowledge of the .NET Platform
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts
  • Knowledge in core Windows infrastructure services (AD, -Doman Services, DHCP, DNS, Print, Terminal Services)
  • Practical knowledge & experience with Internet Information Services (IIS), JSON and Apache Services
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (C1 min.), another language would be a plus
  • High organisational and planning skills
  • High-performance oriented nature, looking for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with divers stakeholders
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Results-orientation with a structured and disciplined approach
  • Experience with change management processes
