Job description, responsibilities and duties

Committed to excellence, we are currently looking for a high-quality individual to join our growing team as Audit Manager EMEA / APAC that would support us with improving the business and building a new strategic audit function and team within Dentsply Sirona.

Purpose of the role:
1. Developing and executing audit programs and projects for the Company’s EMEA / APAC activities. Reporting to Dentsply Sirona’s Global Audit Director.
2. Providing independent and objective assurance and advisory services that focus on improving organizational effectiveness, governance, risk, and control process and practices, including internal controls over financial reporting (SOX).
3. Maintaining a broad knowledge of the Company’s business operations and strategies, as well as external issues impacting corporate and the business units.
4. Manage a regional audit team.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage development and execution of the integrated audit plan
• Deliver high-impact finance and operational audits, to drive strategic transformation of the business
• Collaborate on delivery of the annual SOX Program including reliance with our external auditors
• Oversee internal operating controls, processes and practices
• Recommend changes and enhancements to existing policies and controls
• Attract, lead and develop a team of audit professionals
• Coordinate and manage co-sourced audit projects/relationship with 3rd parties
• Develop strong relationship with leadership and internal customers
• Deliver summarized observations in a business minded audit report
• Coordinate, prioritize, and execute the audit plan with key stakeholders

Requirements and Qualification
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 5-8 years of professional experience
• Big 4 audit experience or large multi-national audit/risk/compliance experience
• Experience with leading a team
• SAP and/or MS Dynamics experience
• CA, CPA, CIA or equivalent is an advantage
