Committed to excellence, we are currently looking for a high-quality individual to join our team as Accounts Payable Supervisor for German speaking countries.
Purpose of the role:
Purpose of the role:
- Supervise the processing of all vendor invoices and disbursements for assigned Dentsply Sirona business units, timely and accurately, with consistent, measurable compliance with the corporate policies governing Accounts Payable
- Lead a team of AP Specialists
- Serve as a point of escalation for Dentsply Sirona locations serviced by GBS to resolve supplier billing and payment issues.
- Supervise the month-end financial statement close procedures assigned to Accounts Payable.
- Support periodic accounts payable accounting duties, including but not limited to preparation and allocation of multi-business unit contract billing and semi-annual internal and external SOX audit activities participation.
- Continuously focus on process improvements, growth in efficiency, and partner with other team members to expedite projects driven by these goals.

- Accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or an SSC
- Experience with leading teams in a similar environment is an advantage
- Working knowledge of current versions of Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of accounting practices directly related to accounts payable processing
- Active knowledge of German and English language
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Motivated self-starter with strong organization and multi-tasking abilities
