Manager – Personal Income Tax and International Expat Taxation Team

We are looking for an experienced professional for our tax team, who has:
• University degree;
• 5+ years’ experience working in the tax area;
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, initiative, and business awareness;
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments;
• Ability to develop relationships with colleagues and clients;
• Well-developed communication skills and fluent Slovak and English;
• Willingness to learn and develop a career.

Your future role:
• Taking responsibility for assigned clients;
• Acting as the point of contact for clients (global companies) and individuals;
• Providing support and guidance to more junior colleagues;
• Utilizing Deloitte’s standard methodologies and knowledge management resources;
• Reviewing letters for clients, summarizing facts, analyses, and specified solutions and recommendations;
• Applying an understanding of the tax issues that impact client tax and business transactions;
• Reviewing personal income tax returns and monthly compliance;
• Working in various teams including other service lines (VAT, corporate tax, transfer pricing) on complex international projects;
• Representing Deloitte at internal and external events and training;
• Developing and maintaining relationships with peers and domestic/international clients.
