Product Line Manager- Commercial PC
As Dell continues to innovate its client product portfolio for the evolving workplace, there is a new opportunity to be part of the EMEA Commercial Product Team as a Product Line Manager. This is an opportunity to be in the forefront of the regional product strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders and teams in the product development, engineering/R&D, demand planning, supply and demand, pricing, sales or external partners to maximize market and product opportunities and manage a specific product line as an end-to-end owner and a SME for internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drives new product launches and schedules starting from the Business Contract stage of the development process through Ready to Ship for a successful worldwide launch. Manages and supports products through their entire life cycle, and makes decisions regarding enhancements throughout the lifecycle until product End of Life (EOL).
• Leads requirements gathering and management; provides advanced interpretation and recommendations
• Applies broad knowledge of product/service capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities.
• Evaluates in-depth market analysis and leads business case for optimization of existing products/solutions alternatives and/or to create the next generation of new products.
• Creates, implements and monitors plans for testing products/ solutions through beta releases or pilot programs.
• Ensures that product/ solution features and specifications reflect EMEA customer requirements and work with global Product Marketing to build product/ solutions marketing plans and drive them through the organization.
• Works across all functional areas, gathering inputs, updating product plans and roadmaps, and communicating the impact of product/ solution decisions to all stakeholders.
