Job description, responsibilities and duties

The jobholder will predominantly cover the area of P2P processes, with the objective to let this role develop with tasks directly supporting the plant controlling activities.

Main tasks are:

- to contribute to the preparation and analysis of budget and rolling forecasts, and to ensure reporting is delivered on time in full;
- to support of the Finance Manager in manufacturing costs and variance analysis against standard manufacturing costs while supporting the other plant's departments in analyzing their cost performance;
- to control, alert and implement corrective actions in case of identified financial issues;
- to participate actively in the continuous improvement programme to achieve World Class Performance in the finance area;
- to generally support monitoring the financial key performance indicators of the plant, according to the Group accounting rules, USGAAP and local statutory requirements under the supervision of the Finance Manager,

Information about the selection process

We require a degree in Business Finance Control/Accounting with minimum 2-3 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Successful candidate:

- possesses a strong knowledge and understanding of costs and variances of manufacturing accounting;

- has the knowledge of the tax and statutory regulations related to the Purchase to Pay services as well as good cost accounting knowledge;

- has the key competencies such as excellent organization with good planning, methodological and attention to details;

- has an open mind and good communication and presentation skills;

- is able to work in a high-pressure environment to tight timescales;

- has advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and VBA), with a working experience in JDE or SAP (or another ERP);

- speaks fluent English in addition to Slovak language.
