• You love creating powerful and intuitive digital products. You are passionate about technology and using it to solve complex problems.
• You understand how to leverage people, process, and tools to build and launch products because you’ve done it before.
• You understand what considerations to consider into account when prioritizing your team’s work, and know how to forecast release dates and development efforts.
• Your communication style is direct and succinct. You concisely articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and enjoy giving client presentations on technical projects.

Your regular day:
8:54 After entering the office you set up your laptop at your work station and you are heading to the kitchen for a glass of clean water. On the way you are grabbing some fruits. It’s banana this time, but you can choose from a wide variety of fruits and snacks

9:03 Everyday morning you check your ToDo list with priorities needing your attention first. This week there are quite few important deadlines with a planned mobile app release for debt management and it’s important to get the product 100% ready for Apple and Google store release.

9:15 You are answering to unread Slack messages and resolving blockers impacting development, some messages are directly from the clients which we pro-actively communicate with on Slack. Responding to emails is equally important. One of our clients is requesting a new feature for an application resolving communication of residents in apartment buildings. You are delegating a colleague to prepare high-level specification and after asking developers to get the estimates ready.

10:40 Jira tickets are major part of our process, therefore there is always a time during the day when you need to review tickets. You are inspecting the current progress and it’s best done with the whole Team, to make sure that priorities are set and we are on time ready with the release. Today there is also a discussion about messaging functionality.

11:05 Leaving for a lunch with your colleagues. There are several options around. Today we are in a mood for some hummus in Aupark.

11:45 Next task is to review mockup screens, that were prepared by the designers during the last few days. The current flow has been updated for an already existing application allowing users to pay via terminal on Mobile phones. You are leaving few comments in Invision that can be quickly fixed and then sending the designs to the client later on during the day.

12:40 Now it’s time to write specification for global search functionality that is going to be used in an application allowing collaboration within various communities in non-profit organizations. Once the requirements are written, you are passing the document to the developers for a quick review.

13:40 Preparing an important email for the client about crucial enhancement of their current solution. There are several options that are worth considering, but you have already gathered information that has been internally discussed. We are recommending a specific approach that will best suit the current circumstances.

14:25 You are delegating our manual testers to go through Jira tickets that are waiting to be tested. On couple of projects there are functionalities ready for testing.

15:00 You are heading for a short break to play some foosball. Sometimes it’s fun to play NHL on X-box, but not today.

15:20 Getting ready for video meetings with our clients. The meetings are in the afternoons with our customers based in US.

16:00 Your first video meeting is business development call about trading application on blockchain and it went very well since everything is on track. Second meeting is taking a bit longer today, because there is a live discussion with the client about upcoming feature and specification needs to be as descriptive as possible.

17:00 One of that last tasks for the day is to check all unread emails that need an answer today. At the same time, you are leaving important notes in Slack and in Jira for developers, so the progress can carry on without interaction following day.

17:20 What an efficient day today. Looking forward to tackle more challenges tomorrow. Before leaving the office you are getting some soda and more fruit.
