Head of Finance (accounting and reporting department)

Responsibilities:   

• Professional and administrative leadership of the team consisting of investment accounting and reporting professionals  
• Reporting and financial control of the invested assets of a large number of entities within the group  
• Oversee all reporting areas   
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies  
• Monitor the investment figures and ensure timely and accurate delivery  
• Ensure the global alignment of all investment under the reporting scope  
• Responsible for efficient resource planning and development and ensure that cost targets are achieved  
• Develop and retain the talent within the team to maintain a high performing team  
• Ensure that there is an effective internal control environment in place that complies with best practice principles and adheres to a proper monitoring framework  
• Continue to improve the alignment of processes  
• Represent team in projects and initiatives  
• Advice senior management with interpretation and analysis of key investment figures 
• Anticipate issues and develop appropriate and timely solutions independently 
• Manage senior stakeholders at all levels and communicates effectively with stakeholders and partners to ensure common goals and expectations 

Requirements: 

• Fluent English written and spoken is must  
• 10 years experience in Finance, Complex accounting or Audit 
• Significant experience in accounting and reporting with focus on investments or banking industry 
• Proven leadership experience in managing international team 
• Strategic thinking and very good communication skills   
• Ability to influence in a complex environment  
• Strong focus on performance and targets 
• Knowledge of investment products 

Brutto base salary will depend on the working experience, professional qualification and skills of the candidate. Advertised amount is minimum salary which can be offered for this role and does not include bonuses, benefits or variable part of the salary.
