GL Senior Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:   

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial reporting 
• Ensure compliance with Slovak taxes and coordinate tax agenda of other entities in cooperation with external partners 
• Maintain day-to-day communication and coordination with accountants in SSC and local Service Providers (with emphasis on asset accounting)  
• Support internal and external finance reporting   
• Asset management operations  
• General Ledger operations   
• Ensure all asset related documents needed for appropriate accounting are obtained   
• Ensure all relevant legal and statutory requirements related to asset accounting are met (for example, but not limited to, inventory taking, review of useful life of assets, proper depreciation key usage etc.)  
• Support booking of intragroup transactions and their reconciliation  
• Conduct transfer pricing and manage transfer pricing within Group 
• Ensure proper implementation of the accounting processes 
• Actively participate on design and implementation of finance processes and information systems 
• Close collaboration with finance department 

Requirements:

• Fluent English (written and spoken)  
• At least 3 years experience in accounting   
• Deep knowledge of double-entry accounting processes    
• Good skills in planning, organizing, coordination and monitoring 
• Good communication skills 
• MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) – advanced 
• Knowledge of IFRS and SAP is very welcome  

Brutto base salary will depend on the working experience, professional qualification and skills of the candidate. Advertised amount is minimum salary which can be offered for this role and does not include bonuses, benefits or variable part of the salary
