Job description, responsibilities and duties

> Development of new tire lines for company brands, focus on the end customer market. The brands as Uniroyal, Semperit, Barum and new products for specific costumers
> Process is organized in projects and the project leader is working within our department
> Responsibility for products from the project start up until the introduction of the new product in the market
> Responsibility for already running product lines, further product line development, monitoring the performance and ongoing problem solving
> Worldwide networking between central R&D and Marketing in Germany, US and Malaysia and all involved international markets
> Ensuring the defined target e.g. product performance, timing and costs
> Tire tests evaluation and set-up
> Setting up the structure to develop new products
> Documentation and presentation of new products
> Launch of the new products in the market
> Project membership
> Close cooperation with other departments within R&D

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence

B

Personality requirements and skills

> University degree, technical field (e.g. scientific, mechanical engineering)
> Project management or leadership experience is appreciated
> English language proficiency necessary (Reading, writing and speaking)
> Dedicated, conscientious, flexible thinker with Inititave
> Strong communication and sociable networking skills
