Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Developing strategies to secure the objectives established by the general management
• Initiating and monitoring measures to achieve objectives related to material and product development, application engineering consulting, technology optimization/technology development
• Initiating and monitoring measures to achieve objectives in production in relation to quantities, costs, deadlines, quality (TQM, audit readiness) within the budget framework
• Reporting to the general management
• Recognizing and implementing product developments in the market
• Leading and managing the subordinate organizational unit, optimizing the organization
• Ensuring required technical customer contacts (including personal contact with main customers)
• Ensuring availability of training and motivational programs for employees on all subordinate levels
• Ensuring occupational safety and environmental protection while taking into account statutory and operational framework conditions
• Introducing new work organizations (group work, lean production)
• Making use of contact with internal and external offices
• Establishing and maintaining "subcontractors"
• Ensuring the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all production materials
