Job description, responsibilities and duties
1) Definition of software architecture and recommendations for hardware sizing ,2) Creation of technical specifications for software solutions,
3) Design, implement and develop innovative IT solutions to address business needs,
4) Assistance for creation of technical design documents for customer (local IT-departments of ContiTrade),
5) Ensure the implementation of the security and control guidelines in the IT area,
6) Training for technical and IT management staff,
7) Plan execution and implement system tests to ensure functionality,configuration and standards,
8) Execute test reports for validation of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established standards,
9) Assistance to plan and control SW development efforts,
10) Ensure the operation of IT systems according to the agreed service levels.

Personality requirements and skills
1) Experience in SW development with ability to analyze an organization’s IT infrastructure
2) Excellent technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and DBMS (database management system) required for successful operation of the business-critical systems
3) Expert knowledge on tools used for application operation and monitoring
4) Ability to work independently and to prioritize as well as to solve problems proactively with customer focus
