Job description, responsibilities and duties

We’re looking for a colleague who will join and lead our finance team in Bratislava. You’ll be responsible for financial analysis and controlling of the dedicated contract. This role is reporting to EMEA Financial Controller and is cooperating with Project Executive and various management teams across Concentrix.

Key responsibilities:
• Experience of Slovak accounting reporting and local compliance
• Manage and perform Slovakia’s functional areas covering the back-office accounting functions including monthly ledger close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, confirming controls within a standard monthly recurring reporting calendar. Contribute to the financial close of other European entities as required.
• Enter, process and consolidate accounting data, performing the relevant accounting operations in compliance with the company processes and procedures and the tax and accounting legislation. Examine, code, verify, balance, and reconcile various kinds of transactions, listings, invoices, vouchers, and reports. Assist in preparing, adjusting, and closing journal entries
• Management of annual audits/VAT compliance/ annual filings and overall statutory tax compliance in respect of Slovakia entity and contribute to other European entities and analysis of financial information to ensure that the accounting team deliverables are accurate and complete in accordance with the monthly/quarterly calendar and KPI’s
• Facilitate the communication flow between all levels of the Concentrix controllership organization and the appropriate Concentrix personnel to assist teams and shared service function in closing the monthly financial accounts
• Analyze the transaction processes to recognize and establish the best practices and implement those practices across the controllership organization
• Timely resolution of GL ledger reporting issues
• Instrumental in the implementation of certain accounting function processes to Concentrix shared services including the review of processes and the correct set-up of the accounting software, etc.
• Ensure authenticity and reliability of the prepared accounting information
• Maintenance of backup of the processed accounting information and prepared reporting data
• Understand and apply Business Controls, data privacy and security guidelines/regulations. Maintain Workstation Security at any time
• Provide guidance to lower level staff

Information about the selection process

- the position is from home office, however candidate must be willing to work from office (Polus tower 1, Vajnorska 100/A, Bratislava) 1x per week

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

Master's Degree preferably in Accounting/Finance, At least 5 years’ experience in finance and planning, At least 5 years' experience in forecasting and budgeting

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Office - Expert

• Slovak and English language written and spoken
• Professional accounting qualification and relevant experience of Slovak accounting reporting and local compliance environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong customer service disposition and sense of professionalism for self and team
